Jean Schuster has traveled extensively through Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the United States. She uses on location sketches and her camera to compose many of her landscapes, which she paints back in her studio.
Jean enjoys Plein Aire painting and has painted many farm scenes on location for the Fields Project in Oregon, IL. Zoos are high on her list of places she enjoys visiting, and she loves seeing the animals.
Jean also paints florals, people, and birds, and has done commissioned paintings of friends' pets.
The majority of her paintings are realistic and record a quiet moment in time.
Jean has exhibited in numerous juried shows and has won many awards for her work. |
