Call: Recollection                                                                                                                                          DEADLINE |November 25, 2017
Memories, dreams, déjà vu, nightmares…. What’s your recollection? Union Street Gallery is looking for work that depicts the scene, person, item, emotion, or essence of your recollection. Work can be created in any medium. Submissions do require a short statement about the piece to assess the connection to the theme. Statements will be available for viewers along with the accepted work. Deadline for submission is November 25. Read the CALL for more details on submitting.

Call: Pen & Ink                                                                                                                                               DEADLINE | January 20, 2018
Union Street Gallery is looking for works that highlight the use of pen & ink in the creation of representational and non-representational works of art. Artists are encouraged to submit works that showcase their unique and skillful use of the material through pens, brushes, and any hue of ink. While we imagine a majority of the work will be two-dimensional, three-dimensional works that the artist feels meet the call are welcome for submission. You can learn more about juror, Kate Lewis, on her website. Deadline for submission is January 20, 2018. Read the CALL for more details on submitting.

Union Street Gallery utilizes an exhibition committee, determined by the director and studio artists, to make programming decisions. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a show, we encourage you to do so. This information will be kept on file and reviewed by the exhibition committee. You should NOT expect to hear back from us unless we are interested in the show or want to incorporate your work into other planned shows. Please complete the following form as a proposal for curated shows. Keep in mind we tend to have group shows, and very few solo shows. You can also send a link to your website as a solo artist. We maintain a record of this information. Curated show proposals and personal websites should both be sent to exhibitions@unionstreetgallery.org.

Review our open calls for art. These group shows are juried and curated throughout the year on a regional and national basis. Participating in a juried exhibit is the best way to build a relationship with USG. We only accept submission through our Submittable website. Emailed or mailed submissions for these shows will NOT be accepted. Payments must also be handled through the website.
