ANCIENT CHANTING and DRUMMING

Join Studio Artist Patty McWilliams and friends for an afternoon designed to explore the ancient activities of drumming and chanting. These cultural exercises are thought to renew the spirit, encourage transformation and healing, and leave one feeling peaceful and grounded. $2 donation. Bring a water bottle. You'll get thirsty. This is a no-alcohol event.

BRUNCH TO ‘DYE’ FOR

Presented by Dorita Fuller

Learn to dye a favorite piece of clothing or fabric. Add hand painting and stamping. Bring your own or purchase scarves, socks and other ‘blanks’ onsite. Bring finger food to share (optional) and a colorful attitude (not optional!).

Mission

The mission of the Union Street Gallery, a not-for-profit corporation is to encourage and nurture emerging and established artists and be a resource for art appreciation and education to the communities that make up the Chicago Southland.

Vision
Union Street Gallery & Studios is open to all artists, emerging, mid-career and established. The purpose is to support artists by providing a professional environment for the development of creative expression, exhibition opportunities, promotion, and education of artists in the business of art. The goal is to link art with private, business, and educational communities to enhance awareness and education of the arts and culture.
